After years of juggling being a "soap star," while raising her daughter alone and trying to get her groove on as a single gal, Michelle Stafford decided it was time to share the very insane story of how her daughter came to be.
Stafford teamed up with her friends Paige Long and Paige Dorian, and after many long nights at Peet's Coffee, the series was created.
Paying homage to the shows they love ("The Larry Sanders Show," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and "Sex and the City,") Stafford plays a version of herself
who has been talked into doing a "reality show."
The Stafford Project highlights the humor in humiliating situations, for which Michelle's own life serves as inspiration. Stafford plays a woman looking for love while trying to be a good mother and deal with all the crazy characters at her job, and all the crazy men she meets on her journey.
